Rossini: Il Barbiere di Siviglia
The Barber of Seville: Rosina is the young ward of the elderly and rather grumpy Doctor Bartolo, an avid collector of butterflies and all things beautiful.
Count Almaviva, masquerading as Lindoro and helped by Figaro, is keen to thwart the old man’s plans and make Rosina love him.
In this production many of the characters seem more than just human.
